Este castillo, reconocido por su singular arquitectura, se alza sobre un terreno arbolado, junto a un meandro del r\u00edo Voltoya, afluente del Eresma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"saber-mas\">Saber m\u00e1s<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El Castillo de Coca se levant\u00f3 en el siglo XV y es uno de los mejores ejemplos de la arquitectura militar g\u00f3tico-mud\u00e9jar en Espa\u00f1a. El proyecto lo impuls\u00f3 Alonso de Fonseca y Ulloa (arzobispo de Sevilla) y su sobrino Alonso de Fonseca y Avellaneda dirigi\u00f3 la mayor parte de las obras, concluidas hacia 1493.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este castillo es notable por su uso extensivo del ladrillo en la construcci\u00f3n, poco com\u00fan en las fortalezas de la \u00e9poca. A lo largo de su historia, fue fortaleza militar y residencia aristocr\u00e1tica y, desde 1958, acoge la Escuela de Capacitaci\u00f3n Forestal (hoy Centro Integrado de Formaci\u00f3n Profesional de Coca).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1995 fue escenario de tres episodios del concurso televisivo de TVE \u00abLa noche de los castillos\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actualmente, es un Bien de Inter\u00e9s Cultural visitable mediante pase guiado. Requiere reserva previa (al menos 48\u00a0h) y parte del recinto se destina a docencia forestal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"en-lo-que-debes-fijarte\">En lo que debes fijarte<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Arquitectura mud\u00e9jar:<\/strong> El uso del ladrillo visto y los motivos geom\u00e9tricos es uno de sus rasgos m\u00e1s caracter\u00edsticos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Murallas y torres:<\/strong> Observa las defensas y torres, que ilustran la estrategia militar bajomedieval.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Detalles interiores:<\/strong> Dentro del castillo, presta atenci\u00f3n a elementos originales conservados, como artesonados y chimeneas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Vistas desde las torres:<\/strong> Las torres ofrecen panor\u00e1micas de la villa de Coca y su entorno.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Salas visitables:<\/strong> Durante la visita guiada se recorren estancias como la capilla y la sala de armas, con explicaciones sobre la vida cortesana y la defensa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"como-llegar\">C\u00f3mo llegar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A pie:<\/strong> El castillo se encuentra a poca distancia del centro de la villa de Coca, por lo que es accesible a pie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>En coche:<\/strong> Coca est\u00e1 a unos 50\u201355 km de Segovia; el viaje dura 45\u201355 min. Suele haber aparcamiento gratuito en las calles pr\u00f3ximas al castillo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>En autob\u00fas:<\/strong> Autobuses interurbanos de Linecar (ruta Segovia\u2013Ar\u00e9valo) conectan Segovia y Coca varias veces al d\u00eda; el trayecto dura 45\u201355 min.
