Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia (IAMM)

Paid entry (non-Malaysian adult 20 MYR), the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia (IAMM) is one of the largest of its kind in Southeast Asia. It houses a collection spanning more than 1,000 years of history.

Admission is paid. Exemptions: children under 6 (free). Students with ID: 10 MYR; non-Malaysian adults: 20 MYR; non-Malaysian seniors: 20 MYR.

Kuala Lumpur Art Gallery

The Kuala Lumpur Art Gallery — officially Balai Seni Negara (National Art Gallery) — showcases contemporary and modern art. Admission is free.

It is open every day from 9:00 to 17:00. It may close on Hari Raya holidays.
Getting there: MRT Hospital Kuala Lumpur (Putrajaya Line) or Rapid KL bus 402; 10–15 min walk.
KLCC Park

KLCC Park is a green space located next to the Petronas Towers. It offers walking paths, children’s play areas and a choreographed fountain, all free of charge.
Free Activities
Highlights include strolling along its paths and watching the dancing fountain, with water and light shows.
Fountain Shows
The dancing fountain puts on its free shows every night at 20:00–20:10, 20:30–20:40, 21:00–21:10, 21:30–22:00 and 22:00–22:10; there are also light shows without music at 19:30, 20:30 and 21:30.
Hours and Access
KLCC Park is open to the public every day from 10:00 to 22:00. Entry is free.
Lake Symphony (free) at the Suria KLCC Esplanade: see times above. Getting there: LRT KLCC (KJ10) with direct access to the shopping mall; from there, exit to the esplanade.
Petronas Twin Towers

Visiting the Petronas Twin Towers is an unforgettable experience, especially if you explore the outdoor plaza, where access is free. This iconic complex is one of the most recognizable symbols of Kuala Lumpur.
Free Access Conditions
The outdoor plaza of the Petronas Twin Towers can be visited at no cost. To access the skybridge and observation deck, a ticket is required.
Skybridge and observation deck (paid entry): Tue–Sun 9:00–21:00 (last entry 20:30); 2nd and 4th Mondays 9:00–20:00; closed on other Mondays. Non-Malaysian visitor rate: adult 98 MYR (~19.83 €), child 50 MYR (~10.12 €), senior 50 MYR (~10.12 €). Advance purchase recommended.
National Museum of Malaysia

The National Museum of Malaysia offers an overview of the country’s history.
It is open daily from 9:00 to 17:00 (last admission 16:30). Some temporary exhibitions or special activities may have an additional cost.
Foreign visitor rates: adult 5 MYR (~1.01 €), children 6–12 2 MYR (~0.40 €). Check temporary exhibitions before your visit.
Kuala Lumpur Visitor Centre

The Kuala Lumpur Visitor Centre (MaTiC) is a useful place to get information, maps and recommendations free of charge.
